Should Carroll Gardens homeowners be nervous about their own property prices?

CARROLL GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Stars, they lose money on Brooklyn real estate just like us! Actor Mark Ruffalo took a nearly $400,000 loss on the recent sale of a townhome in Carroll Gardens.
Ruffalo — who played the Hulk in "The Avengers" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and played reporter Michael Rezendes in "Spotlight" — sold his home on Sackett Street, between Court and Smith streets, for $3.125 million in April, city records show.
That was a sizable drop from the $3.5 million that city records show he paid in October of 2015. The sale was handled by a private trust managed by Stuart Gelwarg, Mansion Global reported.
