Ms. Milholland Returns To Carroll Gardens This Weekend
The seasonal Brooklyn pop-up shop is back with more bags, home and gift items with a focus on Spring and Summer.

Searching for a gift for the hostess who has everything? Ms. Milholland is here (again) to help!
The seasonal pop-up shop offering home decor, gift and baby items will return to 296 Degraw Street between Court and Clinton Streets in Carroll Gardens on Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
"We will have items for picnics including picnic blankets from Utility Canvas, bento boxes for transporting food to your picnic from Takenaka, and melamine dinnerware from Sunny Life," says Ms. Milholland founder Lindsay McCann. "We also have colorful, hand-painted enamelware jugs and cups perfect for outdoor dining from Nkuku. My Drap disposable, yet reusable napkin rolls are perfect for tossing into the picnic basket."
The founders are passionate about finding the perfect gifts, devoting all of their spare time to sourcing the sales.
"I used to work in finance but have spent most of the past five years raising my three young boys," says owner Lindsay McCann. "Claire Nitze, my partner, currently works in employee benefits at a hospital center and also has two young children."
The name Ms. Milholland was inspired by a real life Brooklyn woman, Inez Milholland—a suffragist, labor lawyer, World War I correspondent, and public speaker who influenced the women’s movement in America.
"A few small-ticket items which are perfect to take as a hostess gift include bath products from Rica of Brooklyn and food items including Bosari season salt from my hometown in western NY and Frankies olive oil," says McCann. "We also will offer bloody mary and margarita drink mixers from my business partner Claire Nitze's high school friend and celebrity party planner Bronson Van Wyck.
"For the garden we have outdoor, solar lanterns in fun and festive colors and patterns from Allsop Garden, vintage watering cans as well and hand painted ceramic planters from Eigen Arts, beach chairs in colorful patterns from Sunny Life and cool sunshades from Hollie and Harrie—both companies from sunny Australia!"
