New Brooklyn Waterfront Sculpture Low-Key Disses Manhattan
The sculpture can be read two ways, depending which side of the East River you're on.
Gaze upon Brooklyn Bridge Park’s new 17-foot-tall art installment from the shores of Manhattan, and you’ll see the word “YO” written out in shiny yellow letters.
But gaze upon Manhattan from the other side of the sculpture in Brooklyn Bridge Park, and you’ll see — blocking out a chunk of that famous skyline — the word ”OY.”
