This local bar is pretty much the epitome of an Irish pub. In operation since 1874, PJ's is going all out today and tonight. Expect specials, big crowds bathed in green and extra outdoor space. As Pardon Me For Asking pointed out this morning, the big tents are out.

Also a quintessential Irish bar, Ceol is open all day and into the wee hours with lots of lucky fun to be had! There is irish music today and a big party tonight. Ceol is also serving up the classics: corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips and Irish breakfast: pork sausages, eggs and black and white blood pudding. Woah.
If you want a (slight) reprieve from the sea of green revelers, head to Downtown where March Madness is in full swing. In keeping with the spirit, though, Guiness and Harp draught beers are just $5 all night long.
Head to this fun Smith Street bar tonight for irish shots, bartender Mike's brogue (we hear it's fake... let us know how it is!) and FREE corned beef. 'Nuff said.
The reborn Freddy's (yeah, it's the South Slope but will be worth the trek!) will be celebrating in style with a free music showcase at 8 p.m. Early birds are in luck, as Freddy's will also be doling out $2 Miller High Life and Pabst Blue Ribbon, and $5 whiskey shots until 8 p.m. (afterward, $3 and $6, respectively).
