Sachem School Camp Options This Summer
With the official beginning of summer vacation upon us, it's important to plan for activities to keep kids active and healthy.
Summer's here — do you have plans for keeping your children active?
If not, here are a couple sport camp options to consider from Sachem Schools:
First, you might choose the Sachem Football Youth Experience. It takes place every Wednesday in July, from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sachem North High School football field, and it will be taught by the school's football staff.

The program is for students entering grades 1 through 6. It teach them the them the basics of football "in a fun, non-contact environment." You can register in person on the first day of the program, and the cost is $40.
Second, Sachem East Football and Sachem Rising Sports is offering a summer program called Beast Camp 2.0. Camp will be held every Saturday in July from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sachem High School East.

Coaches from the high school will provide instruction, offering a "FUN, but FUNCTIONAL activity camp for Girls & Boys ages Kindergaten thru 6th grade." You can register online at Sachem Rising.
