If you've never checked out Brooklyn Bridge Park's weekly "Books Beneath the Bridge" series, tonight is the night. Community Book Store Park Slope will host a reading of Swann's Way in celebration of its 100th anniversary featuring Paul Auster, Siri Hustvedt, The Paris Review editor Lorin Stein, Carmela Ciuraru, and Damion Searls. Sheila E. Performance 
According to Wikipedia, the first time Prince met Sheila E., he told her he and his bassist "were just fighting about which one of us would be the first to be your husband." Most women would have died happy at that point. Instead, Sheila E went on to record with him, Cyndi Lauper, Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and countless others. Point Break Live!
This live parody of 90s blockbuster Point Break invites the audience to ride along with FBI agent Johnny Utah and his target/wave-catching guru Bodhisattva as they tear through the coastline and various banks. Bonus: The role of Utah is performed by an audience member selected nightly in an impromptu Are U Keanu? contest. Tickets are $19-$46. Show starts at 8 p.m.
