Slideshow: LICH Activists Make Merry at Atlantic Frantic Fundraiser
The group raised funds for the doctors' part of the legal battle to save the hospital.
LICH supporters cut loose for a good cause on Friday night—raising funds to support legal fees in an effort to preserve resources at the Cobble Hill hospital.
"Calling it the Atlantic Frantic, LICH & Community members came out to party and help the cause," wrote Julie Semente, RN, in an e-mail to Patch. "Food, drink, raffle prizes, and venue were all contributed by community members. Entertainment was provided by Nashville country-western singer/songwriter Juliet Rome: daughter of one of LICH's ICU nurses. A splendid time was had by all."
