By 11 a.m. the sun had fully emerged and was melting ice and warming faces. We found a couple of trees in the neighborhood that had broken under the weight of the snow. If you know of any more, tell us!

At 9 a.m. the streets were plowed and the people we met were in good spirits.

But some sidewalks are still unshoveled, get out there building owners and dwellers!
