Stolen: a Bike, a Phone, Two MacBooks

The following arrest information was supplied by the 76th Precinct. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two MacBooks stolen

The Apple laptops, worth $1,500 each, were taken in a residential burglary on Atlantic Avenue between Hicks and Henry streets on May 24 between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., cops said. The victim, a 22-year-old female, reported no damage to the doors of the apartment, and a canvass of neighbors turned up negative results.

Break a lock, steal a bike

A basement storage area was broken into on Hicks Street between Kane and Degraw streets, cops said. The theft took place between May 28 at 8 p.m. and May 29th at 4:30 p.m. After breaking a lock, the thief or thieves made off with a black and silver mountain bike worth $300 that belonged to a 35-year-old male.

4-person attack and robbery

Four males approached a 33-year-old male from behind and hit him with their fists, cops said, before one of them said, "Give me all your sh--." The robbery took place on the northeast corner of Butler and Smith streets on May 26 at 9:30 p.m. The thieves took off with a wallet, various bank cards and credit cards and $140.

Teen robbed of Sidekick

A 13-year-old teenager was walking home from school on Henry Street on May 27 at 3:35 p.m. when two older teens approached him, and demanded he give them his phone, cops said. The teens grabbed the phone, worth $319, out of his hands near 2nd Street and fled on foot towards Red Hook. No injuries were reported.
