TV Chef Anne Burrell's Cobble Hill Restaurant Closed, Report Says

Phil & Anne's Good Time Lounge closed recently with diners saying they went for dinner but found a shuttered storefront, Eater reported.

COBBLE HILL, NY — A restaurant opened by famed television chef Anne Burrell looks to have closed less than a year after opening, Eater New York reported.

Diners told Eater that Phil & Anne's Good Time Lounge, at 196 Smith St., closed last week. The website reported the spot had piled up missed package notices on the door and some diners showed up for reservations to find a shuttered storefront.

A spokeswoman for the restaurant did not respond to a request for comment and there was no answer at the restaurant's phone number.

Despite the reported closure, the restaurant's social media has been active, last posting on Sunday, but was filled with comments from people complaining the doors were closed when they went to eat.
