When Do the Pools Open in Brooklyn?
Grab your suit, towel and SPF and head over to the nearest place to splash around.
If you don't have a sprinkler in your backyard, never fear: The beaches in Brooklyn are open for summer guests and soon community pools will be too.
According to NYC Parks, all outdoor pools—including nearby Brooklyn Bridge Park Pop-up, Douglas and Degraw, and the Red Hook pool at Bay and Henry Streets—will reopen as of June 27, 2013. Indoor community pools are open year-round.
