Where Are The Best Tacos In BoCoCa?

BOCOCA, BROOKLYN — Tacos, as everyone knows, are an important part of any regular diet. So where are the best places to go in Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens?

You could ask 10 different people that question and get 10 different answers. We decided to try the next best thing and check out the Yelp ratings for taco joints in the area — one in each of the three neighborhoods.

Boerum Hill: Oaxaca Taqueria, 75 Hoyt St

One reviewer says: "I am obsessed with Mexican food. When my friend suggested this place, I had to try it right away. The ambiance is great, I really like the decor. Its this hidden little gem. The staff are really welcoming. The tacos are finger licking good! I really liked their twist on tacos with fruit. I can't remember the names, but I had 3 different tacos: a pork one, chorizo, chicken. One of the 3 had mango ( which i thought was different) but it tasted so good!!!!! I will definitely return. Cobble Hill: Fatty Daddy Taco, 152 Smith St.

One reviewer says: "Fat Daddy can make me a taco anytime!Came here for the lunch special (they have several but I chose two tacos and a drink) and split some chips and salsa. Everything was more or less Baja style, no mole or tomatillo with more fresh herbs and ingredients and less sauce, which is my fav! Good Mexican in the NYC area, or possibly even tri-state, is hard to come by-I'm glad I can walk to this location!" - Allana D.

Carroll Gardens: La Slowteria, 548 Court St

One reviewer says: "Haven't even paid the check yet and I'm (1) full (2) super satisfied (3) about to order another margarita and I NEEEED to write this review.I ordered the veggie tacos and not only was it DELICIOUS but also presented in mini MakeYourOwnTacoStation way that I ADORED eating and prepping it.
