Wine Vendor 'Smith & Vine' Now Open At New Carroll Gardens Location
Smith & Vine successfully relocated to 317 Smith St., just two blocks south of it's original location.
CARROLL GARDENS, BROOKLYN — Operations are up and running at Smith & Vine's new location at 317 Smith St., a neighborhood blog Pardon Me For Asking reports. The beloved local wine vendor was located at 268 Smith St. for the past ten years.
Smith & Vine opened it's new storefront last week. The new store looks very similar to the former space, according to the blog. The business retained it's selection of wines and spirits, and made sure to include the popular "$12 and under" table right in the center of the store.

Smith & Vine's former building, 268 Smith Street, was put on the market for $3,350,000. The business wanted to lock down a new lease rather than risk an uncertain future, and presumably higher rent.

"It was super important for our owners to stay on Smith Street, with all the flux that's been happening up and down," Manager Kamar Gomez told Patch.

Smith & Vine's new location is open: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
