Woman Punched, Robbed In Carroll St. Subway Station

Police are looking for the man pictured below.

CARROLL GARDENS, BROOKLYN — A woman was punched repeatedly and robbed in the Carroll Street subway station this week, and police are looking for the man behind the attack, the NYPD said.

The 38-year-old woman walked into the station on Monday, Oct. 9 around 10:45 a.m., police said. She was followed by her attacker, a 16- to 20-year-old man wearing glasses, according to police.

The man punched her repeatedly in the face, stole her purse and then shoved her down a flight of stairs, police said.

He fled southbound on Second Street, police said. Her purse contained credit cards, a phone and $150 in cash, according to police.
