Residential Burglary
While she slept, a 31-year-old female's apartment was burglarized. Sometime after 11:30 p.m. on the night of August 8, cops said, someone crawled through an open window in the woman's first floor, street-facing, Sackett Street apartment between Hoyt and Smith streets.

The thief or thieves took an $800 Trek bike, a laptop worth $1,500, a camera worth $600, a knapsack worth $100 and various credit cards and IDs.

Residential Burglary 2
The 28-year-old male swears he locked his doors when he left for the night. But on August 12, between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m., his Baltic Street apartment, between Henry and Clinton streets, was robbed, cops said.
When the man came home the doors were still locked, and there were no signs of forced entry. But when he went inside his $2,000 MacBook, an iPhone worth $600 and three rings worth $900 were all missing.
Police conducted a canvass, with negative results. This case is under investigation.
