Driver Hits Pole Near Middle School During Storm: Police
The crash took place Friday morning; no injuries were reported, police say.
MORICHES, NY —A car crashed into a pole during Friday morning's snowstorm in Moriches, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, Seventh Precinct officers responded to the crash, which took place at 632 Moriches-Middle Island Road in Moriches, just south of William Floyd Middle School, at 7:20 a.m.
Moriches-Middle Island Road was closed in both directions between Frowein Road and Jerusalem Hollow Road, police said.
