Funeral Services For Ex Eastport Fire Department Chief Jeffrey Frey

EASTPORT, NY — The Eastport Fire Department is mourning a hero Friday.

Funeral services for ex-Chief Jeffery Frey, who died on October 14, will be held, for the community, on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Molony Sinnicksons Funeral Home in Center Moriches.

A funeral service will be Saturday at the Remsenburg Community Church.

Earlier, the Eastport Fire Department said, in a Facebook post, "It is with deep regret the Commissioners, Chiefs, Officers and Members of the Eastport Fire Department are sad to announce Ex Chief and 50 year member Jeffery Frey has answered his last alarm. He will forever be in our hearts and minds. Please keep the Frey family in your thoughts and prayers."
