Police ID Man Killed In Center Moriches Crash: Cops
His car struck trees and a mailbox in the fatal crash, police say.
CENTER MORICHES, NY — Police have identified the man killed in a Center Moriches crash Tuesday morning as Michael Crisci, 38, of Center Moriches. Crisci was driving a 2000 Lincoln southbound on Brookfield Avenue when the vehicle left the road and struck a mailbox and trees in front of 42 Brookfield Ave. at 7:10 a.m., police said.
Crisci was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, police said.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone with information about the crash to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
