EASTPORT-SOUTH MANOR, NY — School spirit was in full swing last weekend as the Eastport-South Manor Junior-Senior High School held its annual homecoming celebration with a series of events that began Friday afternoon and culminated with the football game on Saturday.
On Friday, cheers echoed in the Junior-Senior High School gymnasium as students in grades 9 through 12 gathered to kick off the weekend’s festivities with the annual pep rally.
Dressed in four separate colors representing the different grade levels, students showed support for each athletic team as they were announced one by one. Interwoven within the announcements of each team were performances from the student choir, marching band and percussion band, who were joined for a special performance by Principal Salvatore Alaimo.
