Search On For Burglar Who Stole $3K In Phones, Laptops: Cops

The Eastport store was burglarized last month, police say.

EASTPORT, NY — The search is on for the burglar who stole laptops and cell phones from an Eastport business in March, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the person who kicked in the door at Tech Connect Cell Phone Repair, located at 4 Eastport Manor Road, on March 14 at 2 a.m., police said.

The burglar stole cash, two laptops and 20 cell phones; the total value of the merchandise was $3,000, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
