Search On For Missing Moriches Man With Schizophrenia: Police
Police believe he may be in New York City and had not been taking his medication.

MORICHES, NY — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Moriches man who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and had not been taking his medication, Suffolk County Police said.
Dasaun Hylton, 31, who lives on Misty Pond Circle, was last seen leaving his residence in Moriches at 8 a.m. on Monday, police said. Hylton is Black, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and 225 lbs.; he was wearing black-and-gray Puma sneakers and a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with a Gap logo, police said. He also has a Capricorn tattoo on his shoulder, police said.
His cell phone pings indicate its most recent location in midtown Manhattan near Penn Station, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on Hylton’s location to call 911 or the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
The Silver Alert program in Suffolk County allows local law enforcement to share information about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing, police said.
