CENTER MORICHES, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She has been making masks for family, friends, neighbors, and essential workers. She is 76 and making masks is her way of helping. She had lived in Center Moriches for over 40 years and has had made many masks for people in her hometown.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?
She is always wanting to help those in need.
