Police ID Woman Critically Injured In Sunrise Rollover Crash

Police have identified the woman critically injured in a rollover crash on Sunrise Highway.

Manorville, NY — Police have identified a woman who was critically injured in a rollover crash in Manorville Wednesday.

Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the a single-vehicle crash; Blanca Vilma Soyos-Cordon, 22, was driving a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero westbound on Sunrise Highway, west of Exit 59, when she lost control of her vehicle and it overturned at approximately 9:05 a.m., police said.


Soyos-Cordon, 22, was taken via ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital; there were no other injuries reported, police said. The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
