Central Park Lake Bursts Banks In Storm: VIDEO

Water levels rose in the Harlem Meer Lake during Monday's storm, sending water onto nearby paths and lawns.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — Central Park is generally a great place to take a stroll. But one New Yorker found out that doesn't really hold up in a Flash Flood.

In addition to several other areas in New York City, Central Park was subject to flooding and massive pools of water. One person walking through the park shot video of the Harlem Meer Lake, located in the northeast corner of the park, which showed the body of water spilling over onto nearby paths.

"I wondered why I was literally the only person crossing Central Park," Twitter user "Seva" wrote.
