Elvis Costello In Central Park: What You Need To Know Before Going
What you can and can't bring, ticket information, where to enter, start time and more.
CENTRAL PARK, NY – Elvis Costello & The Imposters will be playing at Central Park on June 15 as part of his “Imperial Bedroom & Other Chambers” tour.
The concert will focus on Costello’s 1982 “Imperial Bedroom” album, which includes hits “Beyond Belief,” “Man Out of Time” and “Almost Blue.”
According to a Rolling Stone interview, Costello & The Imposters are "not playing [the album] the way it was originally written or heard. We're going back and listening and saying, 'What's good on those recordings? What isn't so good? What can we do better? And more importantly, what do I feel about the songs, and how do I want them to feel for the people who are listening to us sing them?'"
