Man Found Dead On Central Park Bench, Police Say
The city medical examiner's office will determine the man's cause of death.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — The NYPD is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Wednesday morning on a Central Park bench, police said.
Officers responded to a spot within the park near Central Park South and 59th Street around 9 a.m. after receiving a call about an unconscious man on a bench, police said. When officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old unknown man unconscious and unresponsive, police said.
EMS rushed the man to Roosevelt Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The city medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine the man's exact cause of death, police said.
