OZY Fest 2017 In Central Park: Lineup, Tickets, How To Get There

CENTRAL PARK, NY — Is it your dream to catch both a Jeb(!) Bush lecture and Jason DeRulo concert on the same day? Looks like you're in luck.

OZY Fest — once described as "TED meets Coachella" — is set to take over Central Park's Rumsey Playfield on July 22 and features a lineup that includes some big names from music, politics, comedy and the food industry.

Where is OZY Fest and how do you get there?

OZY Fest takes place in Central Park's Rumsey Playfield. The venue may sound familiar to some, as it's the same venue for many Summerstage events.

Rumsey Playfield is located on the east side of the park near East 71st Street. The easiest way to get to OZY fest would be to take the Lexington Avenue subway line (4/5/6) to 68th Street-Hunter College and walk to the park entrance on Fifth Avenue and East 72nd Street.

Folks approaching the park from the west side of Manhattan should enter the park at West 72nd Street and Central Park West. The 1, 2 and 3 lines on the subway can drop you near the park at West 72nd Street and Broadway.

When does the festival start?

Carlos Watson and Kaie Couric will kick the festival off with opening remarks at 12 p.m. Saturday. Ticket holders can enter the venue starting at 11:30 a.m.

What's the lineup look like?

OZY fest has split its lineup into three different stages called The Platform, Town Square and 1818, according to its website. Unlike other festivals the schedule isn't dominated by any one type of performance. At OZY Fest you could listen to Jill Biden give a lecture and follow it up by a cooking demonstration from Eddie Huang.

Are tickets available?

VIP tickets are all sold out but general admission tickets can still be purchased for $50.
