Pitbull Attacks Man In Central Park, Police Say
The man was with his wife and their baby Wednesday morning when the dog bit his right arm, the NYPD said.
CENTRAL PARK, NY — A man was hospitalized after a pitbull attacked him in Cental Park Wednesday morning, police said.
The 41-year-old was sitting with his wife and baby near the Bethesda Terrace when the dog came over and bit his right forearm shortly before 9 a.m., an NYPD spokeswoman said.
The man was brought to a hospital for his injuries, where police interviewed him about the attack, the spokeswoman said. The white pitbull's owner was also gone by the time cops arrived at the park, she said.

The owner is described as slim white man with dark hair who was wearing a light blue button-down shirt, according to the police spokeswoman.
