Teen Attacked In Central Park, Police Say
Two other teenagers talked with the 14-year-old at Central Park's Great Lawn before punching and kicking him, police said.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify two people wanted in connection with the assault of a teenager in Central Park, police said.
A 14-year-old boy was on the Great Lawn in Central Park — located near 85th Street and West Drive — on the night of May 4 when he was approached by two unknown men who engaged him in conversation, police said. After talking with the two men, they began to attack the 14-year-old, police said.
The teenager was punched and kicked several times before the attackers fled the scene, police said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital suffering a fractured orbital floor and a laceration to his face, police said.

The motive for the attack is currently unknown, police said.
The suspects were last week walking on West 81st Street after the assault, police said. They are described as being in their late teens. One suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, red shorts, sneakers with red laces, and a blue Superdry backpack and the other suspect was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, sweatpants with a light stripe, and a blue Nike backpack.
