NY State Department Reviews Conifer's Chappaqua Station Plan Jan. 22
The meeting takes place at 9 a.m. in Cortlandt.

A meeting of the New York State Department of State’s Hudson Valley Regional Board of Review will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 22 at Cortlandt Town Hall. The public has the right to attend the meeting.
The only agenda item is the petition by Conifer Development on the Chappaqua Station Affordable Housing Project.
The New Castle Town Board approved a special permit in 2013 for the proposed affordable housing project, which would have 28 apartment units in a 4-story building at 54 Hunts Place.

Conifer is still seeking variances for various building and fire code requirements, including unprotected exterior wall openings and aerial fire apparatus access. Fire safety has been one of the local concerns. The Board of Review heard Conifer’s petition in December.
