What to ear: Sausages, soft pretzels, dipping sauces and beer. This new Lower East Side beer hall promises lots of beer, sausages and dipping sauces and Jenga. The bar comes from the team behind Spritzenhaus in Williamsburg. The beer hall can be transformed into a “breezy beer garden” with its windows open, according to the bar's owners, and includes lots of communal tables for a spacious round of beers.

Where: 5 Doyers St., Chinatown
What to drink: Fancy cocktails in a speakeasy-style space. Peachy's is located beneath Chinese Tuxedo, the trendy Chinatown restaurant with a varied menu. The downstairs space promises to be just as hip as Chinese Tuxedo, but the bar has a no-photos policy, meaning you can't Instagram your night out. The drinks menu includes standard cocktails plus more expensive options that are made with "superfoods" added into the mix.
Where: 20 Prince St., Nolita
What to eat: A hearty meal with French and Algerian influences. The dinner menu includes dishes like lamb couscous, quinoa taboulet and merguez frites. The restaurant takes its name from the owner's grandma and grandpa, who he called Maman and Mimi, and whose home cooking influence much of the restaurant's style.
