Chelsea Takes Part in National Night Out Against Crime
NYPD community affairs officers celebrated with community members Tuesday evening while teaching them best safety practices.
If you ever wanted to party with a police officer, you had your chance this week.
New York City's National Night Out Against Crime happens annually on the first Tuesday of August, and the 10th Precinct, which covers Chelsea and Hudson Yards, celebrated Aug. 2. It marks a day where community affairs NYPD officers teach communities different best safety practices at local festivals for different precincts.
The 10th Precinct held their festivities at West 17th Street between Ninth and 10th avenues from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
