Flatiron District Gets A Raw Honey Bar At New Health-Focused Cafe

Honeybrains debuts its second location in the Flatiron District.

FLATIRON DISTRICT, NY — A raw honey bar and fast casual restaurant is coming to the Flatiron District Wednesday, the eatery announced.

Honeybrains will open its second location at 34 West 22nd St. near Sixth Avenue. It opened its first location 2016, with recipes crafted with a neurologist aimed at nourishing the brain and body, according to a news release about the new Flatiron location.

"The Flatiron neighborhood is as health and wellness focused as it is iconic, with abundant fitness studios, premium activewear retail destinations, and a bustling business and residential community," founder of Honeybrains Marisa Seifan said in a statement.

Seifan said she's "thrilled" about the Flatiron spot, adding the company hopes to keep expanding.

"We are beyond excited to be spreading brain health awareness and offering our delicious food and juices to yet another location with plans for more expansion in the near future."

Honeybrains features a raw honey bar, supplements, and a menu focused on vegetables, fruits, legumes, whole grains and foods high in Omega 3s. Its hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
