Francisco's Centro Vasco Closes In Chelsea After 35 Years
The longtime seafood restaurant shut its doors after more than three decades in Chelsea.

CHELSEA, NY — The longtime seafood restaurant Francisco's Centro Vasco shut its doors last week after more than 35 years in business in Chelsea.
The popular spot closed its doors on Thursday, Bedford and Bowery was first to report. The eatery's speciality was fresh lobster, and the restaurant was one of the last in New York City where you could still get a plastic bib to accompany your meal, according to Eater.
