Magnum Launches Pride Ice Cream Bar At Meatpacking Store

MEATPACKING DISTRICT, NY — The Magnum ice cream company is releasing a rainbow ice cream bar to celebrate LGBT Pride Month, the company announced.

Throughout the month of the June, Magnum is partnering with GLAAD to offer Magnum's Pride bar, which is only available at Magnum's store in the Meatpacking District. The pop-up store opened at 875 Washington St. in June and will stay open through October. In addition to the pride bar, the Meatpacking store comes with a "dipping bar," where customers can create their own ice cream bar mixes, the company said.

In addition to the partnership, a Magnum spokeswoman told Patch that the company is donating $5,000 to the storied LGBT organization.
