A man hit another bar-goer in the head with a drinking class, police said.

CHELSEA, NY — A bar fight broke out Friday evening at a bar in Chelsea, police said.

Two men were arguing at Gym Sportsbar, at 167 Eighth Ave. between 18th and 19th streets, Friday, May 3 about 7 p.m., according to the NYPD.

One of the men hit the other man, 56, in the head with a glass, police said. Police said he was taken to Lenox Health Greenwich Village hospital with a cut on the side of his head in stable condition.

Police said the man was about 25- to 30-years-old, 5 feet 8 inches tall with a mohawk hairstyle. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweater, a light-colored shirt, gray pants and black sneakers.
