Man Robs 2 Manhattan GameStop Stores Within A Week, Cops Say
A man robbed two GameStop stores in Manhattan in two separate incidents just days apart, police said.
FLATIRON DISTRICT, NY — A man threatened GameStop employees and stole hundreds of dollars in cash at two different Manhattan locations this month, police said.
In two different incidents less than one week apart, the man walked into a GameStop and threatened employees with a sharp object, demanding cash, police said.
Saturday, April 13 at 11:15 a.m., the man walked into a GameStop at 165 E. 116th St. between Third and Lexington avenues and stole $400, according to police. Police said the man fled westbound towards Lexington Avenue in the Upper East Side.

Days later on Wednesday, April 17 about 11:30 a.m., the thief stole $330 from a GameStop at 672 Sixth Ave. between 21st and 22nd streets in the Flatiron District.
No injuries were reported in either robbery, police said. It is unclear what object the man threatened employees with.

The man appeared in his 20s, 5-foot 10 with brown eyes and a beard, police said, and he was last seen with a grey polo hooded sweatshirt, a multi-colored cap, black shirt, blue sneakers and blue jeans.
