Music Hall Debuts Under Chelsea Market
The Chelsea Music Hall is opening its doors Thursday night and will host live acts, comedians and immersive theater.

CHELSEA, NY — A new underground music venue opens this week beneath Chelsea Market with concerts, comedy and diner theater.
The Chelsea Music Hall is helmed by Israeli chef Eyal Shani of Chelsea Market’s Mizon and debuts Thursday night at 407 W. 15th Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues.
Unlike most music venues, the nightlife spot won't focus on a specific genre of entertainment and has a variety of events slated for the space including off-Broadway show "Cleopatra" set in a lavish Egyptian palace, a regular show from RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Dusty Ray Bottoms and events that highlight music from across the globe such as "Soul in the horn" that will showcase horn-infused beats on Oct. 19.
