NHL Headquarters to Move to 67-Story Building in Hudson Yards
The league's headquarters will occupy five floors at One Manhattan West.

HUDSON YARDS, NY — The National Hockey League (NHL) headquarters is relocating from Rockefeller Center to the west side in 2019. The league plans to move to the development Manhattan West in Hudson Yards, Brookfield Property Partners announced Wednesday.
The NHL will occupy about 160,000 square feet and five floors of the 67-story building One Manhattan West, the press release states. The NHL will also lease up to 15,000 square feet to host an NHL Store in the central retail corridor of Manhattan West.
"The NHL is excited and pleased to be one of the initial tenants at Manhattan West, locating our U.S. headquarters to the 'new' West Side," Commissioner Gary Bettman said.

Manhattan West is in the works to be a seven-acre, six building mixed-use development stretching from 9th Avenue to 10th Avenue and 31st Street to 33rd Street.

The complex, owned by Brookfield Properties, will include office space, luxury apartments (pictured above), a boutique hotel, retail shops, restaurants and two acres of open space.

"Our staff, guests and fans will have a special connection to Manhattan West and the NHL," Bettman said.
