Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle In Chelsea: NYPD
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Chelsea Thursday, the NYPD's Tenth Precinct said.
UPDATE: Police said Iris Crespo, 77, was fatally struck by a taxi cab driver about 1 p.m. Thursday in Chelsea. The driver, Daniel Fusaro, 82, was arrested Thursday. Click here for the latest.
CHELSEA, NY — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in Chelsea near Eighth Avenue and West 22nd Street Thursday, the NYPD's 10th Precinct said on Twitter.
Eighth Avenue northbound traffic was blocked off at West 22nd Street after the crash, the precinct said. Traffic was flowing regularly north of 23rd Street on Eighth Avenue.

Police did not immediately have additional information about the person who was hit, what type of vehicle hit them, or exactly what time it happened.
