Penthouse Asking $22.5 Million in Building Where Almost Every Apartment Has Its Own Pool
This is America now, get used to it.

CHELSEA, NY — One of the most ostentatious apartments in Chelsea's notorious Soori High Line luxury development on West 29th Street hit the market Wednesday, the day after one of the world's wealthiest men became president of the country. The penthouse triplex, which is asking $22.5 million, has its own heated rooftop pool.

Soori High Line, a 31-unit open, glassy, expansive building at 522 W. 29th St., is known for its individual pools for 16 of the apartments. Most of them come in the living room. The personal pool feature is so outrageous that the building was featured in the recently released HBO documentary about socioeconomic inequality in Chelsea called "Class Divide."
This particular triplex has a 4-foot-deep, 25-foot-long, heated pool on its rooftop, according to CityRealty.

It also features 20-foot glass walls with a view of a private terrace, marble bathrooms, oak walls, five bedrooms and bathrooms, and all the amenities expected of a wealthy person's luxury home, including a concierge, wine lounge, and library. The building is under construction by Siras Development and Oriel real estate firm and is set to officially open next year.
