MANHATTAN, NY — A man has been smashing LinkNYC Kiosks throughout Manhattan since last Tuesday, police said.
Police said the man has been tied to smashing 42 LinkNYC kiosks with what appears to be a brick in one video the New York Police Department released.
Between April 16 and 23, the man has been caught throwing bricks and other objects at the kiosks from the West Village through Chelsea and Midtown, police said.

LinkNYC said last week regarding the vandalism that its kiosks provide "a valuable public service to many of the city's most vulnerable."

"When people vandalize Links, they impede on its ability to fund and deliver these services. Please be a good neighbor to your fellow New Yorkers," LinkNYC tweeted.
Video footage from one of the kiosks itself caught the man throwing a brick at the screen.
