This Weekend in Chelsea: Holiday Tree Lighting and Carols
Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday with a tree lighting at Fulton Houses, located at West 17th St. between Ninth and Tenth Ave.
CHELSEA, NY — Looking for an alternative to SantaCon this weekend? How about a neighborhood tree lighting and holiday concert on Saturday in Chelsea?
Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday with a tree lighting at Fulton Houses, located at West 17th St. between Ninth Ave. and Tenth Ave. The lighting will be followed by caroling by a local choir at the same location 15 minutes later.
At 6:15 p.m., the event will shift to the nearby Fulton Senior Center, located at 119 Ninth Ave., where there will be a dance performance by The Brandon Project. At 7:15 p.m., the event will wrap up with a performance by Almo Moyo.
