2 Men Steal $1,000 Worth Of Electrical Wiring From Home Depot: PD

COMMACK, NY — Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are seeking the public's help in finding the two men who stole from a Commack store in August.

The men entered Home Depot, located at 65 Crooked Hill Road, at 2 p.m. on Aug. 20 and stole six rolls of electrical wiring, police said. The merchandise was valued around $1,000. Both men are wanted on charges of grand larceny, police said.

Police described the first man as white, around 5 feet 6 inches tall with long blondish-brown hair and a beard. Police described the second man as white, roughly 5 feet 8 inches tall, with short hair. They fled the scene in a Gray Toyota 4Runner, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about the theft to reach Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and leave an anonymous tip via phone call at 1-800-220-TIPS, texting "SCPD" and your message to "CRIMES" (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. A cash reward of up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
