Chris Tombline of Commack to Box in 15th Fight for Charity

Chris Tombline, executive manager of Gutterman Funeral Homes, will participate in the nation's only all-volunteer charity boxing event.

August 28, 2018; Commack, NY – Chris “The Undertaker” Tombline of Commack is the executive manager of Gutterman Funeral Homes, one of the largest, and oldest family-owned and operated funeral service company in America. He is a Fight for Charity alumni boxer eager to participate in this year’s Main Event which will be held in November at the Long Island Hilton in Melville. It is expected to attract more than 1,200 people and raise more than $200,000 for local not-for-profit organizations including Long Island Community Chest, The Genesis School and National Foundation for Human Potential.

Mr. Tombline is one the brightest, toughest and bravest business professionals who will step in the boxing ring this November. He has chosen “The Undertaker” as his ring name. The card for the Main Event will include up to 10 bouts, pitting local business professionals against each other for charity.

“I want to be involved with something bigger than me and give back to local people in need. Long Island Fight for Charity fits that desire. Taking a few punches to help make life better for others is nothing compared to what some people are going through on a daily basis,” Mr. Tombline said.
