The new coronavirus has changed life for all of us. Local businesses have taken a huge economic hit, but communities are finding creative ways to support the establishments they know and love.

Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

We've been in Commack for five years, serving the community with massage therapy and wellness services. Although Commack is the main bulk of our clients, we draw clients from all around Long Island with our excellent customer services and professional, therapeutic massage.

How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

We have a complete shut down of our office due to social distancing. The businesses who rent from us within our space also have had to shut down. Right now we are only open online for sale of wellness products, essential oils, cleaning sprays, CBD and gift cards.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

Purchases from our online store will help us keep some form of income coming in to float us while we wait for some funding options to come through.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

We will get through this but we all have to participate in social distancing. We look forward to a time when we can be more comforting to our neighbors in person but for now we just have to keep going day by day and encouraging each other.

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

We're offering an April gift card special of a $75 gift card for $59.

Are there any other outstanding businesses in town you think deserve some community support?

We would love to support Brows by Cindy and Gene Foley LCSW who are also struggling right now. Gene provides counseling and his services are more important now than ever!
