
COMMACK, NY - The Commack Carvel will be re-opening this week.
The ice cream store, located on 110 Commack Road has re-opened under new ownership. The businesses will be hosting their official grand re-opening event on Saturday, September 22 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
During the event, guests will receive one free junior soft ice cream cup or cone.

In addition, the store will celebrate the grand re-opening all weekend with Buy One, Get One Half off shakes on Friday, September 21 and Buy One, Get One Half off a Sundae Dashers on Sunday, September 23.
"We’re excited to re-open this shoppe and continue offering our great Carvel products to Commack," franchisee May Zhou said. "As the new owner of this shoppe, I also look forward to meeting and building relationships with the community."

The Commack location features the new Carvel shoppe design, which the brand unveiled in 2014 to commemorate its 80th anniversary.
Updates in the shoppe include new soft ice cream machines and toppings bars. Founded in 1934, Carvel is the first retail ice cream franchise in the country.
The company currently has more than 260 shoppes throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida.
The Commack Carvel is open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
