Commack GAP Announces Closure
The local clothing store will be closing its doors this summer.
COMMACK, NY - A local business in Commack will be closing down this summer.
A store employee confirmed that GAP in the Mayfair shopping center on 170 Jericho Turnpike that the store will be shutting its doors soon.
The clothing store will be closing sometime in August. An exact date has not yet been announced.

Last year, GAP announced a company-wide initiative to cut back on physical locations.
There are currently 11 GAP stores remaining on Long Island including in Merrick, Oceanside, Roosevelt Field mall, Garden City, Plainview, Manhasset, Huntington Station, Deer Park, Bellport, Bridgehampton and Riverhead
