Commack HS Graduate Featured In Upcoming 'Kung Fu' TV Show
Eddie Liu, who graduated Commack High School in 2005, was cast in "Kung Fu," which is scheduled to air on The CW starting April 7.

COMMACK, NY — Eddie Liu, who graduated Commack High School in 2005, is set to appear on "Kung Fu," an upcoming television show slated to air on The CW.
Liu was born in Queens to Chinese immigrant parents by way of India, according to Liu's IMDB page. Liu participated in Commack High School's team sports, clubs and trained in martial arts with his brother. Liu attended Hofstra University, where he majored in public relations. He then pursued acting, his true passion, and was accepted into the acting program at William Esper Studio in New York City.
Liu will be playing a character named Henry Yan in "Kung Fu," which is scheduled to pilot April 7, according to IMDB.

Olivia Liang will star as Nicky Chen in the series.
"A quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese American woman, Nicky Shen (Olivia Liang), to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China," according to The CW 14 website. "But when she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her own parents Jin (Tzi Ma) and Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) are at the mercy of a powerful Triad."

Liu's character was listed as Chen's "new love interest" on the show's description.
Liu was not available for comment.
