Creator Of 'Adopt a Senior Cougar' FB Group: Commack Local Hero

COMMACK, NY — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Reason for recognition:
Ben (with the help of his mother Erica keeping up) created the Adopt a Senior Cougar - Commack Class of 2020 page. He created a bright light for the 100s of seniors during a very dark time.

One thing to know:
Ben is a rising senior. I hope he’s able to enjoy all his senior year has to offer, and I hope that he is rewarded in a likewise manner for all of his efforts this spring.
